The helipad consists of five paved landing surfaces designed for MI-8 type helicopters. Each zone is engineered to meet all technical requirements and ensures maximum safety during landing and takeoff.

The landing site is equipped with a set of lighting equipment that allows crews to perform takeoff and landing operations in difficult weather conditions 24/7, while a pulse light beacon enables safe piloting to the site’s control point.
Comprehensive protection and comfort
The "Valaam" site is equipped with perimeter fencing with automatic gates, a security video surveillance system and a crew rest area for recovery between flights. Here, pilots can conduct pre-flight preparations, study weather reports and relax in a comfortable environment.
